Mission Statement – The Bank House
To provide a high quality homely environment where individual choice, expression and opinion are valued and encouraged, so that needs, dreams and aspirations can be met.
The Bank House opened in March 2007 to provide residential care for five adults with learning disabilities, and complex needs. The home will be inspected with Worcestershire Commission for Social Care Inspectorate.
The Bank House will offer high levels of care in a homely environment. Staff will encourage service users to live as independently as their needs will allow. The home is situated thus ensuring personal freedom and easy access for those with limited mobility.
The Bank House offers a range of actives onsite, however service users will be encouraged and enabled to take full advantage of facilities in local community. There is an enormous choice of specialist activities, particularly from the local colleges that cater for people with learning difficulties and have already agreed, with the right support, to have people with complex needs.
Inclusion Care prides itself in being able to offer Worcestershire a specialist service, enabling local people to remain in their own communities, and maintaining all important networks and cultural identity.
The home itself has five bedrooms all comprising of en-suite shower facilities three also have baths. There is also a large lounge/dining room, a kitchen with dinning area ideal for encouraging service users to participate in cookery activities in a safe, hazard free environment. There is also a quite room on the first floor which is equipped with a computer. We have a activity room which has been converted from a double garage and we have plans to create a snoozelem in the summer.
